A Tale of Lost Items



Museums are bureaucratical institutions by necessity. The meticulous work that is required to keep a museum running is enormous — so how come an item in the collection gets lost? This is, perhaps, a non-catalog, for a non-exhibit, for objects that we can only know through documents, images, and/or descriptions, traces of their metadata.
