Em Foco: Iria Corrêa
Iria Corrêa is considered the pioneer of the visual arts in the state of Paraná, Brazil. She got recognition in the middle of the 19th century with still lifes and portraits of personalities from the state. Unlike many artists from that time, especially women, she made a living out of her work and even helped her family with her earnings.
